As you may have noticed, we are now on Pinterest! Via Pinterest you’re able to go behind the scenes at Barefoot Books: you’ll see some of the images and ideas that inspire our work.

In case it’s new to you, Pinterest is a free way to bookmark and share images. Its mission is to “connect everyone in the world through the things they find interesting” and what better way to connect to our readers than by showing you what we love? Pinterest members create themed boards onto which they can “pin” images that inspire them. Other members can re-pin, share, like, and comment on these pins, following the boards that strike their fancy. In a nutshell, Pinterest is an online bulletin board where you can share pictures of things you love with a community.

It is seriously addictive…

So what inspires us? Well, lots of things! We find inspiration in treehouses and teacups; in off-beat art galleries and quirky cafes; in sticky fingers and smiling faces; in snowflakes, muddy boots, stories. Visit our Pinterest page and see images of our favorite reading spaces, the offices where we create our books, our Studios, and more. We want to share it all with you and we’re also asking YOU to help! Please let us know what inspires you and what themes you’d like to see on our Pinterest page because after all, Pinterest is only as amazing as the people coming together to create and share the boards.

We’re looking forward to seeing you over on Pinterest soon. In the meantime, please leave a comment to let us know what you’d like to see on our Pinterest boards. Thank you and happy Pinning!
