In today’s podcast, a cat and a blackbird venture out to find food every day while a rooster minds their hut in the forest. The rooster has been told to keep the door locked so Old Foxy can’t get in, but when Old Foxy comes knocking at the door, he offers some very tempting food to the rooster. Will the rooster be able to resist? Be sure to tune in!

The cat and the blackbird in “Little Lord Feather-Frock” always manage to save the rooster just in time. What’s the nicest thing a friend has done for you? Comment below and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a copy of The Story Tree! The contest closes 4 December at midnight EST and 5 December at 5am GMT.

Here are some fun facts about foxes:

  • Foxes use their tails for balance, communication and as a warm cover.
  • They can live in a variety of habitats, including forests, grasslands, mountains, and deserts.
  • When they’re born, their coats are usually brown or gray, and they grow into their colors of red, gold, silver or black.
