In “The Rabbit in the Moon” from our anthology, The Barefoot Book of Animal Tales, a rabbit and her friends wish to spread love and kindness to those who experience sadness and hardship. The otter will give away all of the fish he catches, the monkey will give away all of the mangoes he picks, and the elephant will share the locations of the springs she finds. Tune in to find out what sacrifice the rabbit is willing to make in order to help others!

This week’s podcast shares the Indian tale of how a rabbit became who was admired for being wise, fearless, generous, pure, and loving.  What are some qualities that you admire in others? Leave a comment below, and you’ll have a chance to win a copy of The Barefoot Book of Animal Tales! The contest closes July 31 at midnight EST and August 1 at 5am GMT.
