It’s time for another sneak peek of our new books! Take a look below for a preview of the books that are scheduled for release in May and June—we are excited to share a glimpse of them with you!

Camp out with Ruby and her friend Mai in Ruby’s Sleepover (ages 3-7), written by Kathryn White and illustrated by Miriam Latimer. This companion to Ruby’s School Walk features rhyming text detailing Ruby and her friend Mai’s nighttime adventure, perfectly complemented by bright, mixed-media illustrations of the many dangers lurking outside their tent.

This June, Bear and his friend are taking a trip to the mountains in Bear Takes a Trip (ages 2-6), written by Stella Blackstone and illustrated by Debbie Harter. This addition to the popular Bear series introduces children to time-telling with helpful illustrations and rhyming text to guide them through the story.

Introduce children to Buddhism with The Barefoot Book of Buddhist Tales (ages 6+), retold by Sherab Chödzin and Alexandra Kohn, and illustrated by Marie Cameron. Featuring eight stories from countries including China, India, Japan and Tibet, this collection is a great way to learn about other cultures and ways of life.

Celebrate dads everywhere—just in time for Father’s Day—with the Barefoot Book of Father & Daughter Tales, (ages 6+), retold by Josephine Evetts‐Secker, illustrated by Helen Cann and narrated by Allan Corduner. This collection of tales about the daughters of kings, merchants, warriors and peasants, and their relationships with their fathers, is drawn from different traditions around the world.
